Hello weebs! Today we'll be looking at 10 cartoons that are better than many animes. Anime vs cartoon is one of the biggest battle in anime community that's why I am not going to a part of it and I am not saying that cartoons are better but rather I am showing you that there are cartoons that can go head to head with animes in terms of animation, story, characters etc... 

In this list I have taken all masterpieces so you can watch them all but as always many more deserving titles are missing so your task is to mention those missing/worthy titles in the comment section. Also it is not a ranking so all titles are at random order. 

So without wasting any time let's begin....

1. Invincible (2021) 

Episodes:- 8 (42-49 minutes each)  

Genre:- Action, Superhero

Invincible is an ongoing action, superhero cartoon with 8 episodes created in 2021 by Amazon Prime Video. It is an Adult cartoon series created for mature audiences as it contains a lot of violence, gore, nudity etc... hence not for everyone. It has an stunning rating of 8.7/10 in IMDB and a strong contender from this list. 

Plot 

The Invincible series follows the story of a 17 years old boy named Mark Grayson who transformed into a superhero under guidance of his father, Omni-man who is already a powerful and super popular hero. Now Mark has to prove that he is also as good as his father is but handling his personal life and superhero life is full of challanges. 

2. Rick and Morty (2013)

Genre:- Sci-fi, Adventure, comedy 

Rick and Morty is an ongoing amarican sitcom created in 2013 and currently has 5 seasons. It's art style might looks childish but show is created for mature audiences only. The series is one of the highest rated animated series with ratings of 9.2/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

Series follows the adventure of Rick, a super genius mad, alcoholic, careless scientist along with his 14 years old boy named Morty who is also his grandson and is not very smart. Both perform various experiments and go on adventures you can never even think of.

3. Samurai jack (2001)

Genre:- Action, Adventure, fantasy 

Samurai jack is an amarican action fiction cartoon created in 2001 and aired in Cartoon network. The series is known for its amazing action and art style. It is rated 8.5/10 in IMDB which is really good. It is created for teen audiance but adults and kids could also enjoy it. 

Plot 

Samurai jack tells the story of a samurai from feudal Japan who was sent to future by an evil wizard named Aku. Now jack must find a way to travel back to his time and defeat Aku. 

4. Castlevania (2017)

Genre:- Action, horror, Dark fantasy 

Castlevania is an adult animated series created by Netflix in 2017. It is inspired from a Japanese game franchise initially released in 1986 of same name. It's art style and visuals are very similar to animes and it's animation is also amazing. The series is rated 8.3/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

Series follows the main protagonist named Trevor Belmont, a vampire hunter who fights to save a city captured by dangerous creatures controlled by Dracula. 

5. Beavis and Butt-Head (1993)

Genre:- Comedy 

Beavis and Butt-head is an amarican adult comedy cartoon series created in 1993. It has 8 seasons. This series is very entertaining and funny. It has funny characters and funny plot. Believe me, this series is even funnier then their faces. The series has a decent ratings of 7.5/10 but still worth watching. 

Plot 

The series follows the story of two socially awkward idiotic duo who loves rock music and on that basis judge music videos and reality. They often do idiotic things when they are bored and apart from rock music and girls, nothing interests them.

6. Boondocks (2005)

Genre:- Comedy, satire, Adventure

Boondocks is an amarican adult comedy sitcom created in 2005 with 55 episodes and 4 seasons. Series has same very enjoyable characters and amazing art style with beautiful story telling. It is rated 8.5/10 in IMDB.

Plot 

Story follows the adventure of two African-amarican boys named Riley and Huey Freeman who faces some cultural clash when moved to suburbans from Chicago.

7. Justice league (2001)

Genre:- Action, Superhero  

Justice league is an amarican Superhero series created in 2001 based on DC comics. It is an amazing series with amazing Action and animation. It has only 52 episodes and 2 seasons and after that series got a prequel named justice league Unlimited which is considered one of the best superhero cartoon series of all time. It is rated 8.6/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

Batman, Superman, Wonder woman, Flash, Martian Man Hunter, Green lantern and hawk girl joins forces and create a superhero team named justice league to fight evil and maintain peace. 

8. Arcane  (2021) 

Episodes:- 9 

Genre:- Action, fantasy, sci-fi 

Arcane is a wonderful animated series created exclusively for Netflix. It is besed on game franchise named League of Legends. It currently has one season with 9 episodes 40-45 minutes each. It has an amazing animation and visuals with very engaging story and Characters. It has a an amazing ratings of 9.1/10 in IMDB and an unbelievable ratings of 100% in Rotten Tomatoes. 

Plot 

It is the origin story of the two iconic champions from league of legends game franchise set place in utopian Piltover city. 

9. Transformers: prime (2010)

Episodes:- 65 

Genre:- Action, sci-fi, thriller 

Transformers: prime is a 3D animated series from Transformers franchise. It has 3 seasons and total 65 episodes and one movie. Series is known for its amazing action, story, animation and characters. Despite being characters being robots, there is still a lot of emotions. The series is rated 7.9/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

Series follows a group of good robots called Autobots led be optimus prime. Fate of humanity is now in danger as evil roboys, Decepticons and Autobots fight their war in planet Earth.

10. Avatar the last air blender (2005) 

Episodes:- 61

Genre:- Action, adventure, supernatural 

Avatar is a well known masterpieces cartoon created by Nickelodeon. It is known for its amazing writing and plot. It has very deep storyline and shows struggle related to war. It has 60 episodes called chapter and 3 seasons called book. Many people also consider it as an anime due to its art style but it is not. It is one of the highest rated animated series of all time with amazing ratings of 9.3/10 in IMDB. It also has a sequel called, Avatar Legend of korra which is also very amazing. I am totally gonna recommend you to watch this masterpieces. 

Plot 

World is divided into four nations Earth, Fire, Water and Air. Fire nation has started a war upon all other nations and is almost close to victory now Avatar must learn to use all four elements to save the world from fire nation.
