 Top 10 anime released in 2022 (till June) 

Hello weebs! Let's take a look at Top 10 anime released in 2022. Like always this year is also amazing with some really awesome anime releases. In this list I have only taken those animes which are released in this year which means older animes with new seasons aren't eligible for this list and animes are ranked on the basis of ratings. 

For making this list more accurate, I featured ratings of two biggest rating sites that is, My Anime List (MLA) and IMDB. In short, animes are ranked on the basis of their average ratings on MLA and IMDB. I am going to keep this list fully updated so feel free to check this list at anytime of the year. Enough talking!

10. Tomodachi Game 

Genre:- Psychology, thriller 

Studio:- Okuruto Noboru 

Tomodachi Game is an ongoing psychological thriller anime created by not so popular "Okuruto Noboru" studio. It's first episode released in 6 April and quickly gained popularity due to unique plot. The series is rated 7.5/10 in MAL and 7.4/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

A high school boy named, Yūichi Katagiri enjoying his highschool life with his group of 4 other friends until one day at a school trip when there fund get stolen and were dragged into a mysterious game as a result of someone's debt.

9. Salaryman's Club 

Genre:- Sports 

Studio:- LIDENFILMS 

Salaryman's Club is a 12 episode sports anime aired from January 30 to April 17, 2022. The series is badminton based anime with some unique character background. It has a rating of 7.4/10 in MAL and 8.1/10 in IMDB. Totally worth trying. 

Plot 

Mikoto Shiratori was a badminton genius at his childhood who lost at his high school. Now starts playing badminton again after joining sales department of a beverage company. 

8. Aoashi 

Genre:- Sports

Studio:- Production I.G 

Aoashi is a football based sports anime created by Production I.G, same studio that created Haikyuu. It started airing from 9th April and expected to have 24 episodes. Aoashi is rated 7.9/10 in MAL and 7.8/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

The anime follows the journey of Ashito Aoi a third year student of Ehime City Middle School. His coach, Tatsuya Fukuda believes that he had a lot of potential and can become an amazing footballer hence, he invited him to Tokyo to become best. 

7. Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness 

Genre:- Slice of Life, cooking 

Studio:- Encourage Films 

Deaimon is a slice of life anime based on cooking. It is a Seinen anime with 12 episodes. It's first episode released at 6th April and last episode is going to release in 22nd June. It is rated 7.5/10 in MAL and 8.1/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

It follows story of Nagomu who came to his home for the first time in ten years to take over their family's restaurant as his father is hospitalised but instead he was asked to become father figure of a girl named Itsuka Yukihira who is going to be the next successor of the business. 

6. Sasaki and Miyano 

Genre:- Slice of Life, boy love 

Studio:- Studio Deen 

Sasaki and Miyano is a yaoi anime created by studio Deen that focuses love life of two high school boys. This anime is might not be for everyone but it is a banger of 2022 with ratings of 8.3/10 in MAL and 7.5/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

The anime focus on love life of two boys Sasaki and Miyano. Miyano is a shy natured comic lover who always worry about his girly face until one day he meet with his senior Sasaki who always tries to get closer to him. 

5. Dance Dance Danseur 

Genre:- Seinen, Drama 

Studio:- MAPPA 

Dance Dance Danseur or DDD is a Seinen anime that focuses on ballet dance. It is created by MAPPA studio, who also made Jujutsu kisen series. It started airing from 9th April and expected to have 11 episodes. It is rated 7.7/10 in MAL and 8.2/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

Story follows journey of Junpei Murao who gave up on ballet after death of his father but after meeting with new transfer student named Miyako Godai, he started performing it again. 

4. Ya Boy Kongming! 

Genre:- Comedy, Musical 

Studio:- P.A Works 

Ya Boy Kongming! is an idol anime created by P.A Works studio. It aired from 6th April to 16th June and consist of 12 episodes. Series earned its popularity due to its unique plot and sence of humour. It is rated 8.4/10 in MAL and 7.9/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

A great tactician of third century, Zhuge Kongming gets reincarnated into modern Tokyo where he meet a girl with amazing singing talent. She taught Kongming to live in modern world and hence he became her manager. Now he uses his old day strategies to help her grow. 

3. My Dress-Up Darling 

Genre:- Romance, comedy, Ecchi 

Studio:- Cloverworks 

My dressup darling, who haven't known about this anime. It is a 12 episode romcom anime which got popularity due to that type of causes. Why should you watch My dressup darling? Answer is simple, that girl over there. It is rated 8.2/10 in MAL and 8.4/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

The story is centred on a highschooler named Wakana Gojou who is very passionate about making Hina dolls but he kept it a secret. He also lacks friends but after meeting with a popular girl of his class, Marin Kitagawa, he discovered a new purpose of his sewing skills. 

2. Summer Time Rendering 

Genre:- Slice of Life, Supernatural, Mystry

Studio:- OLM 

Summer Time Rendering is a supernatural, mystry anime which is currently in trend due to its amazing narrative and storytelling style. It started airing from 16th April and expected to have 25 episodes. It is rated 8.3/10 in MAL and 8.4/10 in IMDB. 

Plot 

The story follows a highschooler named Shinpei Ajiro who revisits his hometown after 2 years following the death of his childhood crush who was drowned in the ocean while saving a little girl. 

1. Spy × Family 

Genre:- Slice of Life, comedy 

Studio:- Wit studio, Cloverworks 

No surprise at all, Spy x family is currently representing the anime industry. The anime first aired on 9th April and its first season expected to have 12 episodes. Spy x family contains one of the cutest character of time which is the main reason for its popularity. It is kinda over rated if you will compare it with its ratings which is 9/10 in both IMDB and MLA which makes it one of the highest rated anime of all time.  

Plot 

A super elite spy, Twilight has to make a family to carry out an important mission hence he adopted a psychic girl child named Anya and agreed to live with Yor, an assassin as his acting wife.
