 10 animes for smart people|300 IQ animes

Welcome to yet another amazing anime list titled "10 Animes to challenge to your brain". I have chosen only those animes which challenged my brain so if any anime is missing then may be I never watched them or may be they failed to challenge my brain.

Another thing, I haven't included death note in this list because almost everyone has seen it and if you haven't then go watch it first. And one last thing, I have also included anime movies to give you more flexibility. Enough talk let's get down to our list.

So let's begin......

10. Danganronpa : The Animation

The concept of this anime is very interesting and that is enough to put it in watchlist but we are talking about animes which will give challenge to your mind so is it challenging? Yes, it is. 

In this anime 14 or 15 students are given challenge to survive in the school and from survive I mean, they have to kill each others and last man standing is the winner. Surviving in a situation like this is no joke, In order to survive you need to think of out of the world plans and this planning thing make this anime worth it.

9. Parasyte 

Parasyte is a horror, psychological anime that has so many twists and hidden messages. You need to use your mind to get to the messages and questions this anime asks from us. Humans think they are different from other animals but bitter truth is that we all are same. It is an anime which will change your perspective toward life.

8. Death parade 

Death parade is a pure psychological anime. It don't have any mysterious storyline or dozens of characters or anything like that, this anime is just pure psychology. This anime only plays with mind. This is an anime you may never seen before. So keep it in your watchlist.

7. Code geass 

Code geass is another amazing anime like death note. It has a character just like light so if you loved death note then you are definitely gonna love. And just like death note, code gease also have mind games and planning, plotting so you are gonna give your mind a same challenge you gave during death note. So do give it a try. 

6. Tatami galaxy

Tatami galaxy is a story about a university student who relives his University life to impress a girl. In every episode he travel back in time and try to avoid the mistakes he did in past to make his life better and to impress his crush. It is more psychological then it sounds. You also need to give attention to the story to keep a track of what's happening. Some people also call it a 300 IQ anime so watch it right now.

5. Paprika 

Here comes the first anime movie from our list. Parika is an amazing psychological anime which you must watch to make your mind go crazy. It is directed by Satoshi Kun who is literally a king of making psychological movies and animated by studio mad house. It is very experimantal film. It jumps between dreams and reality very smoothly. You are definitely gonna like the direction of this movie.

4. Neon Genesis Evangalion.

If you are in anime community for a long time then definitely you have heard about it. It is a mecha anime but mechas are just a tip of the iceberg. The psychological aspect this anime has is just wholesome. It has many scenes that are enough to put you in depression. It has very human characters which make it really easy to connect with the story. It is a very mature anime so if you think yourself a mature dude then try it.

3. Stines gate 

The next entry in this list is, Stines gate. This anime touches many genres like sci-fi, romance, slice of life, psychological and few more but that's not what makes it good, what makes it good is the balance between all of them. It is just amazing to watch. You will just love it's twists and turns in the plot. You do need patience for watching this anime because is starting 8 episodes you will get crazy. You will keep scratching your head for few starting episodes because they are made like that way intentionally so don't bother your self and enjoy the amazing story telling of Stines gate.

2. Monster 

Before you put it in your watchlist I wanna tell you that this anime is not for everyone. You need patience to watch it. There is so much going on the story so you also need to carefully analyse the story but once you have watched all the way to the end then you will gonna proud yourself. And for genre, it is a mystery, thriller and psychological anime and the psychological aspect of this anime is really brain hitting. And the villian of the story is just marvellous. If you like psychopaths then he is going to become your favourite villian.

1. Perfect blue 

At last we will end this list with another amazing anime movie. Yes, it is a movie and it is directed by Satoshi Kun and production house is mad house. Sound familiar? 

Satoshi Kun +  mad house = Masterpiece 

Every Satoshi kun's movies are psychological so you can watch any of them but I have chosen two of his best, first Paprika which is in no. 5 of our list and second is this, Perfect Blue, a perfect psychological film. It's psychological aspect is it's speciality. This anime may not be suitable for everyone so watch it at your own risk and enjoy it's ending.
