8+ Anime sequels you might never heard of.

There are many animes you aren't aware have sequels. There are many animes that got sequels or OVAs after few years of their release due to fans demand or just for refilling of pocket that's why some times we totally forget to watch them. And that is why I made this list but there is a probability that you are aware of them all and if that's the case then this post might not be for you. All these animes are very popular so there is a huge chance that you have watched them and if you haven't then consider it a recommendation.

1. Stines gate got an extra episode and a movie.

After end of the main series stines gate got an extra episode as an OVA which can be considered as ep 25 where we got to see that makise's memories came back. And it also got a movie named "Steins;Gate: The Movie − Load Region of Déjà Vu". The movie takes place one year after the events of the series. 

2. Re:Life got 4 OVAs after 2 years.

Re:live is a slice of life/romance anime with 13 episodes. The anime ends at episode 13 which doesn't complete the story so after two years of completion of anime it got 4 OVAs that gives the series a satisfying ending.

3. Attack on Titan got 7 OVAs.

Attack on Titan is currently the most popular anime series but many of you may don't know that it has 7 OVAs. These OVAs contains backstory of Levi. How Levi meet Erwin, how he joined survey cops and how was his life before joining into survey cops and his old friends. If you are a Levi fan then it is a must watch for you. 

4. DBZ got special episodes and sequal series.

DBZ got a special episode named "Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!". It is a 34 min special released in 2008. It is in this list because it's story is done by Akira toriyama itself but still most people don't know about it. And for extra information if you don't know then dbz also got 3 sequal series that is, dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball heroes and Dragon Ball super but among them only dragon Ball super is canon which means it is made by Akira toriyama itself and other two are not made by Akira toriyama, they are just made for merch promotion and for refilling of pocket. 

5. Prison school got an extra episode.

One of the best ecchi anime of all time Prison school generally and unfortunately only have 12 episodes. At last episode boys get there freedom and story ends with defeat of student council but fans aren't satisfied with the ending they were demanding for season 2. And in inspite of season 2 we got an extra episode which shows the life of boys inside of school and a new student council as old ones were sent to jail. This made the story complete but season 2 is still in demand.

6. Death note got a director's cut.

Death note is an anime which most of us watched at our beginning days of anime. That is a time when most of us never heard of OVAs and ONAs that's why most of us never known that death note has a director's cut version. Basically it has 2 movies that shows the same story but with some new scenes and extra information. It also shows that light turned into a shinigami and world after Kiran's death. 

It has two movies named death note rewrite and death note rewrite 2.

7. FMAB got 4 special episodes.

Full metal Alchemist brotherhood also known as FMAB is one of the most loved anime ever. It has 64 episodes as we all know but you may not know that it also have 4 OVAs. But unfortunately they aren't sequels but it has same condition as with of Attack on Titan. It contains episodes which shows Roy Mustang's past, his past when he was just 18 years old and still a trainee. The OVAs also covers the detailed battle of ishvall war and friendship of Mustang and huges. It's totally up to you if you wanna watch them or not but if you are a fan of Roy Mustang then I will suggest you to watch it.

8. Code gease got a movie sequel.

Code gease has one of the best endings in anime. As you may know in ending lelouch got stabbed and died but that's not it. In 2019, code gease get a movie sequal where lelouch got revived. The movie gives the series a true ending so don't forget to watch it. Name of movie is "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection".

If you were aware of all of these movies and OVAs already then this might not be for you and consider yourself a pro. I made this list only for those who aren't aware of this. There are many more series out there but I have chosen only those whom I was aware so moral of this is that, always check for sequals and OVAs.
