10 Best Team leaders/captains in Anime

Welcome to today's list of Top 10 best leaders in anime. Being a leader is not an easy task, a leader have so many responsibilities and burden in shoulders. Not everyone can be a good leader so a leader deserves respect. 

I prepared this list by choosing some of the best but popular anime characters who represent or lead a specific team, squad, nation etc... And the rankings I gave them are all from my personal opinions so it could be different then your expectations. I think it's enough talk so let's get down to our list.

So let's get started...

10. Reigen Arataka (Mob phycho 100)

He is the master of mob and also lead his team of psychics to stop evil plans of claw. Although he is the weakest member of the team and a scammer who claim himself to be a psychic but he is still very useful. He is very good with words and can even make some decent plans. He has saved his teammates many times and again he doesn't have any kind of powers. Another thing is his luck, he is very lucky and because of that he is still alive. He played an major role in defeating claw. He is a scammer but with his amazing personality and skills, we could easily consider him a great leader.

9. Daichi Sawamura (Haikyuu!)

Leadership is not limited to battlefields only, sports is also a nice place to demonstrate your skills and that's why our next contender is Daichi from haikyuu. Daichi is the captain of the vollyball team of Karasuno High School. He is the wing spiker of his team. His capabilities as a captain is no secret at all. We all know that under his captaincy his team has won many matches. He even acted as the coach when coach ukai was hospitalized. He is very mature and know his responsibilities as a team captain.

 

8. Askeladd (Vinland Saga)

He was the main antagonist in the series. He lead his small group of pirates. He is expert in fighting and making strategies. He is very intelligent and brave but unlike other leaders he doesn't like his crewmates he only live with them to achieve his dream. He earned his respect by winning almost every fight. He is greedy and selfish but still a capable leader.

7. Norman (promised Neverland)

Norman is one of the smartest character in the series. He with help of Emma revealed the secrets of grace field. He even outsmarted ray. He helped in making escape plan and when things got worse he sacrificed himself like a true leader. But that's what he does in season 1 only because in season 2 he arranged a team and lead them to fight with monsters. And he has done this much just at the age of eleven.

6. Luffy (One piece)

Luffy is the captain of straw hat pirates. He is love his crewmates so much that he can even die for them and similarly his crewmates respect, love and most importantly trust him. He assembled his crew which is his greatest feat till date. His leadership qualities are also very good most importantly he is always ready to sacrifice himself for the crew. 

5. Lelouch (Code geass)

Lelouch is the main character of the series and he is best known for his intelligence and his leadership which resulted in downfall of Britainnian empire. He led black knights under the code name of zero and planned every move smartly for black knights. He played his role perfectly and achieved his goal. He got his revenge and his subordinates got freedom from Britannian Empire.

4. Kakashi hatake (Naruto)

Kakashi may not be the smartest or strongest in the series but his skills as a leader is unmatchable. In general he leads squad 7 but he can even lead a huge army like he did in war arc. He can make quick decisions and can take proper steps at almost any situation. His skills are acknowledged by all nations and he even earned his position as hokage in end of the series but unfortunately we didn't seen him much in role of hokage but we know that he would have done is properly.

3. Senku Ishigami (Dr. Stone)

Senku is the main character of the series and a science lover or should I say science genius. He have all the knowledge of science. He can create anything and his intelligence is also top notch. Other characters make plans to win the fight but this dude make plans to find solutions without picking up the fight. He created kingdom of science as his allies which contains almost 40-50 people from a small village and he lead them to rediscover humanity. He make strategies to counter evil plans of Sukasa and make crazy inventions which is really fun to watch. 

2. Roy Mustang (FMAB)

In starting of the series he was the colonel but later he learnt the evil motives of the government so he started an uprising against them. He arranged mens and assembled a squad then created plans and even fought from frontline and at the end of the series they even succeed in stopping the government. It's not an easy job especially when your loved ones are taken hostage. His contribution in the uprising is undoubtedly shows his capabilities and prove that his leadership abilities are amazing.

1. Erwin Smith (Attack on Titan)

Erwin Smith is the commander of the scouts and my personal favourite from the series. His words are very motivational and plans are almost perfect. Under his leadership scouts gained a lot of information about Titans and even revealed the whole truth. He convinced 100+ soldiers to die with his words only. His death was one of the biggest reason for rumbling because I think if he would be alive then they would have better plans to deal with outside world.

At last I wanna say that being a leader is not an easy task and of you think that a leader has to do less work then you are absolutely wrong because leaders/captains are the one who bear all the burden. And that is why I wanna tell you that no leader is more or less from anyone, every one is same and they all deserve love and respect.
