 Everything FMAB did better than Naruto 

Today we'll take a look at everything that Full metal Alchemist brotherhood (FMAB) did better than Naruto. As we all know  both of these animes are masterpieces. They are on another level when it comes to popularity and there is no comparison between them but if you ask me personally then I will reply, FMAB is better than Naruto. You can agree or disagree as we all have different opinions. 

                There are lot of negetive points in Naruto that I noticed like pacing, plot holes, fillers etc... In short, there are lot of things Naruto can improve but if you will think about flaws in FMAB then you will remain empty handed because FMAB is just perfect. 

Now let's talk about it point wise. So let's begin.... 

1. Better Pacing 

Naruto is an anime with 720 episodes but the main content is only of about 300 episodes but unwanted fillers and very slow story telling make this series a drag. On the other hands FMAB worked in its pacing and has only 64 episodes which suits it well. There is a filler count of zero and you won't be getting any unwanted flashbacks so it is a perfect anime to binge watch. 

2. Better Protagonist 

FMAB's protagonist, Edward Elric and Naruto's protagonist Naruto Uzumaki both are really iconic but there are some complains everyone has with Naruto like his annoying nature where he always try to befriend with his enemies and always running for sasuke etc... His power scaling is very unbalanced and overall he is very typical shonen type character but Edward Elric is very balanced as compared to Naruto. His actions and thoughts are very human which makes his very relatable. His power scaling was also very balanced. In the series he was neither the strongest nor the smartest which makes him different from other anime protagonists. And the best thing that I like about Edward Elric which lacks in all other Shonen protagonists is that, he is not the one man army. There was no fight that he would have won on his own. He was needed support to win battles after all he was just a kid and when his opponents are very experienced fighters then he got no chance against them and that makes the series more sensible. At last I will say that Edward Elric is very complete character. 

3. Better Character Utilisation  

Number of characters in Naruto is lot more than in FMAB and when it comes to villian then it is an easy win for Naruto but there are few things Naruto lacks. Naruto have so many characters but many of them are useless or very weak but FMAB handled it's characters in a right way. Every character in the series has a motive and purpose to fight and even the weakest characters have contributed in fights. FMAB has done what every shonen lacks and I am talking about character utilisation which is simply perfect. 

4. Consistency 

FAMB is very consistent with its pacing, animation and story. There isn't any moment in the series when you will feel bored or tierd. Overall FMAB is very consistent but that's not the the case in Naruto. In Naruto animation quality changes frequently and not every episode is exciting. There are many moments when you will feel very bored. 

5. Fan servicing 

Naruto contains lot of fan servicing. It never backed from sexualising it's female characters and don't forget jiraiya's research and Naruto's sexy jutsu. And thanks to jiraiya, number 106 isn't the same anymore for me. But FMAB has no such nonsense. FMAB do have few fan servicing scenes but they are unnoticeable. It doesn't have any pervert character or any female character with unusual body shape.
