10 fights in Hunter x Hunter that could be better than Netero vs Meruem 

Today we'll be looking at the 10 fights in Hunter x Hunter that could be better than Netero vs Meruem. As we all know hunter x hunter is an anime series with few chapters still left to adapt hence we can atleast assume what's could possibly happen in the near future. That's why I will pick the 10 most interesting fights I would be looking forward to see in the series and I am sure that if these fights took place then I will be better then Netero vs Meruem's fight. Apart from that I would also like to list few fights that I believe could be better fights even though it's possible in zero. So without wasting any time let's just into our list of "10 fights in Hunter x Hunter that could be better than Netero vs Meruem". 

So let's begin... 

10. Hisoka vs Gon (Rematch) 

Gon is the main protagonist of the series and hisoka is a major antagonist of the series hence they have confronted several times but not since Gon learnt to use Jan-ken and also he has gained a lot of experience and control over his aura so if next time they will fight then that could be a fantastic battle. 

Even though Gon has got stronger, he is still not much capable of taking hisoka down but you can't predict the result that easily cause Gon is the main protagonist of the series and that does give him a slight advantages that's why he got a chance too. 

9. Gine vs Netero 

Netero was the formal chairman of the hunter associations. As far we have seen in anime, he is the strongest human. He gave an amazing fight to Meruem and proved himself the worthy of being chairman. On the other hands Gine is the father of Gon and he is considered as one of the strongest nen user in the entire world. Although we haven't seen him in action but his intelligence is no secret to us. 

Both these characters known eachother and there is also a chance that they have fought each others in past so we could get a flashback of it. Both are amazing when it comes to fighting but if there were a fight between two then Netero would be victorious as he was called the strongest human in his prime.

8. Killua vs illumi 

Killua is the secondary main protagonist of the series and illumi is his older brother. Both characters are from Zoldyck family (a family of well trained assassins). Relationship between killua and illumi is not good at all, they both have different opinions on every thing. Apart from that, illumi also wants Alluka's powers which killua refuses to give and now killua is protecting Alluka while illumi is still hunting for her hence their battle is certain in future. 

If killua and illumi fought to the death then this fight could to be even better than battle of netero and Meruem. Illumi is clearly the stronger but who knows maybe we got to see his good side where his love for his younger brother emerges and sacrifice himself like Itachi did in Naruto or maybe something even better. 

7. Hisoka vs illumi  

Hisoka and illumi both are major antagonist of the series. Both are very good friends and always ready to help eachother if beneficial for both. Hisoka is a creep, he likes to fight and always looks for strong opponents and illumi is no different for him and when time will be right then he will betray him. 

Hisoka is extremely strong, his aura possess quality of both rubber and gum and he knows how to use it. While Illumi is well trained assassin with different abilities like controlling people. If they fought then that is going to be very brutal. It is a fight I will be looking for the most. 

6. Phantom troops vs The Zodiacs 

The Zodiacs is a group of 12 hunters put together by chairman Netero for political and other issues. These 12 members are as follows, Pariston (Rat), Ging (Boar), Botobai (Dragon), Cheadle (Dog), Kanzai (Tiger), Pyon (Rabbit), Mizaistom (Ox), Gel (Snake), Saccho (Horse), Ginta (Sheep), Cluck (Chicken), and Saiyu (Monkey). Throughout the whole series we haven't seen even one of them in action but we can assume that they are as Netero use them as sparring partners too so whenever we get to see them in action it would be amazing that's for sure and who could be a better opponent for them then the Phantom troops, a group of 13 thieves. 

This fight could be the biggest fight in terms of both size and action but it's probability of taking place is close to zero. The winners for this fight would be Zodiacs probably cause their level is just below the Netero but I am not sure cause I don't know much about Zodiac's abilities and powers.

5. Gine vs Meruem 

Gine is the father of Gon as I already told but his strength and powers are still mystry but the hint we have got about his strength in the series makes him a intresting opponent of Meruem. Meruem, the king of ants is till now the strongest character in the series we have seen. But unfortunately we will never get get to see that cause Meruem is already dead due to poison but if he were alive then this fight would certainly break all limits. 

Netero and Gine known each others for a long time so maybe Gine would take netero's revenge after knowing that he is dead but sadly that never gonna happen but if It would then definitely it would be a better fight then Meruem vs Netero. 

4. Adult Gon vs Revived Meruem 

Another Meruem's fight that I would like to see the most and that is,"Adult Gon vs Revived Meruem". Not just me but every one wants to know the result of this fight cause it's a big debate. We have seen adult Gon beating Pito without breaking any sweat and the power of revived Meruem was also incredible.

We still don't know how strong both these characters are but it is a question that every one wants to know so let me handle it. Gon on his adult form is easily stronger then Netero and most probably Meruem and if Meruem would fight Gon in that state then Gon will beat him very badly but after his revival he became even stronger and even obtained the abilities of his royal guards so I think revived Meruem could beat Adult Gon.

3. Phantom troops vs The Zoldyck Family

Phantom troops are one of the best villinou group in anime history. In York New city arc we say them all in action making that arc one of the best arc in the anime history. The major highlight of the arc was zeno and Silva zoldyck vs krollo Lucifer which was an intense battle but with no result. You can say that it was just a trailer. Just think for a moment how amazing it could be if the whole Phantom troops will attack zoldyck family mantion as a revenge for their leader. It will be an equal fight as zoldyck family also have powerful buttlers and gate keepers. 

If this fight took place then that would be a chaos and for result I think Phantom troops will give a decent fight and may won it cause they are 13 super skilled fighters while in zoldyck family, except for zeno, Silva, illumi and few butlers no other is that strong but still if it happened then I will become the best in the series. 

2. Hisoka vs krollo Lucifer 

Hisoka is a major antagonist of the series while krollo is the leader of the Phantom troops. He is a specialist who could steal others powers and then use it for himself which makes him a difficult opponent to beat and that's exactly what Hisoka likes. He likes to fight with tough opponents and that's the whole reason why he joined Phantom troops but due to Kurapika's interference we never got to see them fight. But never say never, maybe in future krollo will regain his powers and then offer Hisoka a fight till death;) 

Watching them in action is something I would most likely to see in near future cause even for me predicting the result is difficult as both are amazing fighters but I think krollo got the upper hand because of his power stealing ability and you can't forget that he is the leader of phantom troops so his intelligence would be far superior and at at last, we all know Hisoka's powers but we don't know how many different types of ability krollo has gained in these years. Anyway if they fought then certainly it would become the best fight of the series. 

1. Gon vs Killua 

When two most important characters fight then it becomes most important fight. Gon and killua both are two most important characters in the series. Gon is a typical shounen hero type and killua is kinda anti-hero but still they are best friends and that what makes this fight more emotional and impactful. When two friends fight then things just look different. 

If both characters fight then predicting the results would be very difficult cause giving it a good ending is very crucial. There is a huge probability that there would be any winner and I even doubt if there would be any casualty but I am one hundred percent sure that if they fight then its impact would be gratest and easily become the best fight of the series surpassing Meruem vs Netero.
