10 Best short anime series: Best animes with less then 30 episodes.

Hello weebs! Welcome to today's blog post about short anime series with less then 30 episodes. In this article I have taken top 10 amazing anime series that finished airing and have episodes less then 30. When it comes to top animes then most of them are long running but that doesn't mean that short animes are not that good because I basically like short animes as they finish quickly and have a fast paced story which makes every episode worth watching. But if you will search for short animes then a huge list always appears which creates confusion that is why I am here to make things easier for you.

All animes mentioned in this list are very impressive and worth watching so if you want then watch them all one by one. All these animes are finished which means they have an ending and most probably they won't get another season so enjoy them all.

1. Odd taxi (2021) 

Genre:- Mystry, thriller

Don't judge this anime with its looks because this show isn't about cute animals, it has a darker plot then I appear. This original Anthropomorphic based anime is created by studio OLM and P.I.C.S with a ratings of 8.7/10 in IMDB. From my opinion, it is the best new anime released in 2021. 

Plot 

Anime tells the story of a taxi driver named, Odokawa, a walrus who talks to his customers while driving about various mystries and incidents happening in the city.

2. Erased (2016)

Genre:- Mystry, time travel, psychological 

Episodes:- 12 

Time travel masterpiece, Erased is one of the best anime you will find under 12 episodes. Erased is created by A-1 pictures and series is rated 8.3/10 in MAL. Definitely a must watch anime. 

Plot

29 year old Saturu Fugiwara has a unique ability to go back in time whenever a accident is about to happen around him. He calls it "revival". One day an accident took place which sent him 18 years back to his middle school. Now he must solve the mystery to prevent that accident and go back to his time.

3. Parasyte: The Maxim (2014)

Genre:- Psychological, horror 

Episodes:- 24

Parasyte or Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu is a horror psychological anime created by studio madhouse in 2014. It is a very amazing anime with very engaging storyline.  

Plot 

An alien creature appeard out of nowhere in earth that took controls of his host and in order to survive it must feed on other humans. A highschooler named Shinichi Izumi also a victim of these creature but Shinichi didn't loose control of his body and now that creature and he tries to live together.

4. Your lie in April (2014) 

Genre:- Romance, Musical, Slice of Life

Episodes:- 22 

Time to get emotional. Your lie in April is a musical anime created by studio A-1 pictures. It is one of the best romance anime of all time and the best anime you will find about music so do give it a try. 

Plot 

Kousei Arima was a genius pianist but after death of his mother he loses his motivation. Then in April he met with a girl who is an amazing violinist Kaori Miyazono, his life began to change. 

5. Devil man crybaby (2018)

Genre:- Horror, supernatural, gore

Episodes:- 10 

Devil man crybaby is a mythological type anime created by studio SCIENCE SARU in 2018. It is a hardcore r-rated anime so watch it only if are above 18.  

Plot 

As the demon reawakens, humanity gets in turmoil. A demon boy with heart of a sensetive human is led into a brutal war against evil by his mysterious friend, Ryo.

6. Stines gate (2011)

Genre:- Psychological, sci-fi, slice of life

Episodes:- 25 + OVA 

Stines Gate is the most unique science fiction anime you will ever find. It is based on visual novel of same name and anime is created by White Fox studio. The way anime blends the sci-fi, romance, slice of life and psychology is genius which makes it a masterpiece. 

Plot 

Okabe Rintaro is a scientist who is trying to create a time machine but rather created a microwave oven that can send messages to future. 

7. Promised Neverland (2019)

Genre:- Horror, mystry

Episodes:- 24 

Promised Neverland is created by studio Cloverworks and is known for its rushed ending and bad manga adaptation but its first season is still a masterpiece and I will recommend you to watch it for sure afterall it is one of the few animes that made me cry. 

Plot 

Ray, Norman and Emma are three most intelligent children lives in the orphanage with many others kids and caretaker they call "Mom". One day Emma and Norman uncovered a dark truth about the orphanage.

8. Cowboy bepop (1999) 

Genre:- Sci-fi, action, adventure

Episodes:- 26 

Cowboy bepop is a legendary space drama created by studio Sunrise in (1999). I don't think that this anime even needs an introduction. This anime is known for its amazing soundtracks, western references, great english dub and perfect characters. 

Plot 

Spike and his crew chase after bounties for living but they all have a past they can't overcome. 

9. Death parade (2015)

Genre:- Psychology, Suspense, thriller

Episodes:- 12

Death parade is an amazing psychological anime that you should watch without knowing anything about the series because that gives very fantastic experience. It is created by studio madhouse so that gives another reason to watch this anime. 

Plot 

To get the best experience of the series I would recommend you to watch it without checking much about the series. 

Welcome to the NHK (2006)

Genre:- Slice of Life, drama, psychology 

Episodes:- 24 

Welcome to the NHK is a psychological anime created by studio GONZO in 2006. The anime is based on hikkikimori lifestyle and a mind of a paranoid. In easy words, about a guy who remains in home forever and things everyone is talking about him and making conspiracies against him. If you are an introvert then this anime is going to very relatable for you so do give it a try.
 

Plot  

Tatsuhiro Satou is living in his apartment for years and he rarely goes outside. He is a college dropout and unemployed. He thinks his this world is making conspiracies against but one day he meet a girl named Misaki who wants to cure his condition.
