Shonen is everyone's favourite genre. It is something that makes anime different from other media. Most shonen anime are long running and contain 100 plus episodes. All long shows are divided into small parts according to the story which is called an arc. Change in are means change in objective and scenarios of the story. 

But not every were same. Some arcs are buildup for the next one while some are just some random filler content but there are few arcs that were called masterpieces and every great anime has a great story arc which we are going to look at today's blog post. So let's not waste any time and let's take a look at Best arc of every anime part 1.

Dragon Ball:- Cell saga 

Dragon Ball is a legendary franchise that inspired all modern shounen animes and introduced the anime to the whole world. 

Dragon Ball has so many arcs across all canon, non-canon series and spin-offs but there is only one that can be considered the best and that arc is none other than Cell Saga. 

Cell Saga was the peak of the Dragon Ball franchise. In the arc, the series introduced us to a great villian, Cell and Goku's sacrifice was also a big moment and the best part was the character development of Gohan which is still one of the best in all anime history. 

Naruto:- Invasion of Pain Arc 

Naruto is known for their great villains. The series has given us some of the finest villains like Orochimaru, Madara, Obito etc. 

The Naruto franchise has so many arcs but none of them could match the hype and amazingness of Pain Arc. 

The arc started after the death of two great characters, Jiraiya and Itachi and due to Jiraiya's death it was more interesting to watch Naruto against Pain. Naruto's entry in that arc will always be the greatest.

Hunter x Hunter:- Chimera Ant arc

Hunter x Hunter is a well known anime. The anime was originally made in 1999 and got a remake in 2011 by studio madhouse.

Best arc of Hunter x Hunter is the Chimera Ant arc, an arc which is mostly known for its character development. It was an arc which changed the whole tone of the series from light to dark. 

It introduced a new kind of feo who questioned humanity. The ending of the arc is one of the greatest and most unique endings you could ever witness.

One piece:- Marine Ford arc

One piece is a name every otaku knows. One piece is the face of anime. It is an anime that is continuously entertaining the world for over 2 decades. 

Through the year we have seen many short and long story arcs but one that remains in the hearts of fans is, Marine Ford. 

After lmpel-down arc, fans witnessed a short arc of 33 episodes that blew everyone's mind. You just can't make a list of best anime arcs without including Marine Ford. 

Gintama:- Shogun Assassination arc

Gintama is the anime that nailed the genre of comedy. Gintama is the king of parody, you can find many references to other animes in this series. Most of the time the series is all fun and comedy but there are moments when it gets really serious. 

Over the years series has shown many arcs but the turning point of the series is Shogun assassination arc. It was an arc that took a darker tone. It an arc that will make you feel like you are watching a dark dramatic seinen. 

Attack on Titan:- Return to shiganshina district arc 

Attack on Titan is an anime that never disappointed us. Not just arc but every episode of the series is packed with iconic moments which really makes it difficult to choose the best. But the series got most of the hype and success after s3 part ll. 

After completion of part 1 of season 3 of the series, part 2 begins which contains 10 episodes and all of them were masterpieces. AOT became trending and topped every rating and review site. Then after season 4 started, it broke many records due to its previous hype and from there it never stopped. 

In short, Return to shiganshina district arc or season 3 part 2 changed everything for the series positively therefore it can't be denied that it was the greatest arc of the series. 

Haikyuu:- Shiratorizawa arc 

Haikyuu is an anime that proved volleyball can be fun too. Due to the series, volleyball got way more popular in Japan than before. 

Haikyuu is an amazing anime as it made many epic moments but my favourite among all is the match against Shiratorizawa academy. 

Season 3 of the series has a total of 10 episodes which is solely dedicated to the match of Karasuno Highschool vs Shiratorizawa. That whole match was full of action and nail biting spots and overall it was a masterpiece.

Yu Yu Hakusho:- Dark Tournament arc 

90s classic and one of the most influential shonen anime, Yu Yu Hakusho which was created by the same guy who created Hunter x Hunter, is still a worth watching masterpiece. 

Just after completion of the first arc of the story, the Dark Tournament arc begins which is also the longest arc of the series. 

In the first arc, the story of the series wasn't very captivating but things changed as this arc came to play. This is the arc which popularized tournaments in anime. The best part of the arc is its character development.
