Konjiki no Gash Bell Episode 11 - The Funniest anime episode I've ever seen. 

Zatch Bell or Konjiki no Gash Bell Episode 11 "The Invincible Folgore" is the funniest anime episode I have ever seen therefore I decided to talk about it with my fans (if any are there). If you follow me on twitter then you may know how big fan I have become of this series. Zatch Bell is a series I first watched in my childhood on television and I really loved the series at that time but due to low viewership it ended just after a few episodes but just a few days ago I decided to re-watch the series. The series started with great pace and I am really enjoying the show. From story to characters everything is very well created. Till now I have 11 episodes and I really loved the last episode hence in this article I will discuss my experience till now.

Plot 

As we are talking about Zatch Bell for First time in our blog, we should complete some formalities. Zatch Bell or Konjiki no Gash Bell is an action, comedy, shounen anime created by Toei Animations in 2003. The series follows Kiyomaru, a 14 year old boy who found a demonic child named Zatch (in English dub) or Gash (in Japanese dub) as his gift from his father. Kiyomaru is an intelligent boy who thinks everyone else in his school is stupid and below his level. Therefore his father sent Zatch to him to help him in making friends but that's not all. Zatch is a demon and like him, 100 more demons came on earth to fight to become king of the demon world. Every Demon possesses a book that contains magical spells that can only be used when a human reads it. In short, demons team up with humans to fight against each other in order to decide the next king of the demon world. So watch the series to know what happens next. 

Episode 11 - The Invincible Folgore 

Now let's talk about the reason I am writing this article. Konjiki no Gash Bell Episode 11 is titled "The Invincible Folgore" is the episode where the funniest character of the series, Folgore along with its demon Kanchome appeared. In the episode, Folgore and Kanchome try to steal the book of Kiyomaru but as their plan failed, they try to take it by force but that strategy also failed. 

Episode summary 

The episode starts with Gash bringing yellow tailed fish for Kiyomaru who was ill at that moment. When he entered he found something unusual with Kiyomaru. We saw that Kiyomaru's nose had become bigger and his teeth were looking sharp but our Gash Bell didn't use his brain and he ignored all that. Then both of them started eating fish, Gash as always started eating it raw but Kiyomaru also started eating it raw which Gash found strange but he ignored that too. Then Kiyo asked about his spell book. He said that he forgot where it was. Then the camera showed the real Kiyo who was taped to the ceiling of his room. Kiyomaru was conscious but his mouth was taped due to which he was only able to cry on Gash's foolishness. 

Then Suzume came to his house and she also noticed Kiyomaru's long nose but then Kiyo said she is pretty and then she forgot about all that. In Rage real Kiyomaru fell from the ceiling and then everyone was shocked by seeing two Kiyo at some time but Kiyo scolded them for not recognising the real one as it was obvious. Kiyo also punched fake Kiyo on his head, he started crying due to that punch and then showed his real self. It was Kanchome, a demon who along with his human partner Folgore taped him on the ceiling. Seeing all that Suzume lost her consciousness and fell on bed. Then Kanchome said that Folgore will come and then both of them will take the book by force so all of them sit there and wait for Folgore.

After a very long time, Folgore appeared. After a few introductions they were about to fight, Kiyo started the fight with his first spell and took down Folgore. Kanchome then started to sing a song which gave Folgore enough power to stand back and dance along with him. Kiyo used another attack on Folgore but he woke up again. Then Folgore used his first spell that transformed Kanchome into a huge cannon. Kiyo and Gash were intimated by that spell. Folgore said to surrender but Kiyo refused, he was about to use another attack but then Folgore started to cry and asked for mercy because that's all they could. Kanchome could transform into a cannon but can't shoot. Kiyo and Gash found it funny and pathetic. Folgore tried to motivate Kanchome who was very demotivated after not being able to fight back against Gash who is also a dropout like him. 

Then a miracle happened, a new spell unlocked for Kanchome. Folgore and Kanchome used that spell as their final attack but nothing happened, Kanchome just shrunk and became weaker than he was before. Kanchome didn't give up and started taking advantage of his small size but Kiyo caught him by using a chocolate as bait. At last both of them give up and leave. Kiyo was very frustrated as both of them wasted a lot of his time. The episode ends by showing Kanchome and Folgore at a place full of people dancing to his song. 

Conclusion 

Episode 11 of Konjiki no Gash Bell is easily one of the funniest anime episodes of all time. The episode was a great mixture of gag humour and sit-com. From those funny dance moves to even funnier lyrics, everything about the series was great. Both Folgore and Kanchome were very funny characters whom you can never forget. If you watch the series in the original Japanese language then only you can listen to the songs Folgore sung in the series which is titled, Goaping Breast. The lyrics were changed in English version. Overall it was a great episode and I am hoping to see more episodes like this.
